Internet in my language
Wiki page is nothing but easily editable page by anyone. It's more open than blog. I had written off the concept of "wiki" a few years back. At that time I would have laughed if I was told that I will contribute a lot of hours everyday updating wiki pages. I have already started adding sanskrit/ Marathi pages on one of the wiki pages.
http://hi.wikipedia.org/
It supports Unicode standard. It means these pages are searchable. For e.g. If you want to know how many times does the word "Arjun" (Kaunteya - in sanskrit) is mentioned in Geeta, try the following google link.
http://tinyurl.com/2gwtg
Since it is different standard and you must not have the correct fonts installed on your computer, you can't change the search word. But try copy - paste from the pages you find and it might work! You need IE 6 or Mozilla to test these pages. For more info goto...

Oddpost and Yahoo!: "Oddpost has been acquired by Yahoo!. This is of course wonderful news for those who have tried oddpost in the past. Though they had a lot of problems dealing with paid/ free customers, the people still appreciated the service. When I first used Gmail, I was impressed by the speed. I immediately remembered oddpost, the only company that provided "Fast" web based e-mail, add the in built "RSS Reader" and you have a complete email + RSS Reader or (email + RSS to email gateway) service. Congratulations Oddpost!"

Bloglines update
1) There is no link to go back to "My Clip Blog" when I am browsing through my Blogroll.

2) Permalinks are broken.
a) Permalinks on "My Clip Blog" aren't working. For e.g. these two links don't go anywhere.
http://www.bloglines.com/blog/shantanuo?id=6
http://www.bloglines.com/blog/shantanuo?id=5

Both of these two links should have their own page.

b) The "URL: title" and "Source Blog" both have the same URL address.
The first one should display the blog entry in question and the second one should show the blog page (either within bloglines domain or the actual site)

3) Only URL's appear on my "Clip Blog". I will like to clip the content and not just the URL.

RSS:: "The revolution of RSS is what people are doing with it, what it enables, the way it works for people who use technology, the freedom it offers, and the way it makes timely information, that used to be expensive and for the select-few so inexpensive and broadly available.

RSS is the next thing in Internet and knowledge management. It's big. A lot bigger than a format."

Bloglines | News: "Bloglines Clip Blogs

Weblogg-ed - Using Weblogs and RSS in Education :: "You know, used to buy the Times every day. Then I used to go to the Website every day. Now, I just click through the stories at Bloglines. There is a post here somewhere about my changed news consumption habits, and believe me, they have changed dramatically due to RSS and Bloglines. Not sure whether it's a good change or not..."
